Moses Dombo
Moses Dombo hails from the quaint village of Kachonga Two in the Naweyo Sub-County of Butaleja district in Eastern Uganda. As the fifth of eleven children, Moses grew up in a nurturing environment, with his father working as an elementary school teacher and his mother managing the household and farm. Moses’ educational journey began at Dube Rock Primary School, continued at Nabumali High School, and eventually led him to Makerere University Kampala, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree.
Furthering his academic pursuits, Moses obtained a Master’s degree from Wales University in the UK, an MBA from Eastern University in Pennsylvania, USA, and a Ph.D. from Ndejje University in Uganda. His professional career spans over 40 years, during which he has significantly impacted the humanitarian sector. Moses has held prominent positions such as Chief of Party, Country Director, and Program Manager for reputable organizations including the Church of Uganda, YWCA, World Vision, FHI 360, PLAN, PATH, Oxfam, and Food for the Hungry, among others.
Beyond his professional achievements, Moses is dedicated to his family. He and his wife, Jessica Dombo, have lovingly raised numerous children, demonstrating their commitment to nurturing the next generation.
